Having a conversation with a friend one day about storytelling and what it means to us and to our listeners I wrote the following.
Storytelling is a gift to the storyteller and when we tell a story we a are giving a gift to the listener and then the listener in turn is giving a gift back to the storyteller. How well that gift is received depends on the thoughts and packaging that went into the gift and what packaging the listener brings to the story
What can I say about storytelling. It is so joyful to be able to share this skill with other people.
