Adults and children have their say about Patsy

Patsy Allan has been coming to our Centre for a number of years – every week when she walks through the door the children’s faces light up with smiles, laughter and excitement.

As the owner of the Centre I am passionate about all of the children in our care being introduced and exposed to many different experiences – especially storytelling and the joy of listening to Patsy as she involves the children in the stories and takes them on a magical journey from beginning to end – where their imaginations can run wild and they feel like they are a part of this special experience each week.

The children are introduced to so many different concepts and ideas when Patsy is telling stories – not only are they developing their expressive and receptive language skills but also concepts of sequence / order, feelings, characters (role play), working with others and listen to and following directions.

Patsy is a valued and cherished member of our Centre – she is a very special person with a very special talent. We are so lucky that the children at our Centre have Patsy in their lives – someone who tells stories with passion and enthusiasm, engages the children for extended periods of time and introduce many new concept is a wonderful person and a wonderful and valuable asset to our Centre.

The alive, active and colourful way you involved the children in your stories and songs was a joy to see. Exactly what we envisage for our youngest theatregoers.
